Unlike many other coaches, I provide tangible results and deliverables ... according to what each individual client wants... what their goals are... specific needs/requests...
1. I will assist you in going through the process of writing one query letter for one session, assign you the task of coming up with 5-10 different markets for the query letter and give you feedback, tips and advice about selling articles to the magazines you choose (I will also offer samples of query letters that work and ones that don't)
2. help you to focus and nail down your writing goals... for specific, concrete, results creating a map, a strategic plan for your writing (if you don't know where you are going, how will you know when you get there?)
3. create a writer's website (one page) for you to sell your work, a platform to begin the process of your becoming a professional writer
4. provide you with specific resources, tools, and contacts (books, tapes, groups, etc).
5. make suggestions as to places for you to network and obtain cilents (if business writing is something that you would like to pursue), meet literary agents and publishers and editors, if that is how you wish to proceed...
6. give you writing assignments to hone your skills... for instance, teach you how to write press releases that get published, if you wanted to learn how to do that, a marketable in demand skill...
7. three hours of my time to talk, edit, research and provide resources such as the writers website, and other tools
All of the above is easily worth $1,500 or more...
